One Family: Jesus' sacrifice on the cross not only covered our sins, but it also removed the dividing wall of hostility that separated us. This is why we are One Family.
For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility…So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God
Ephesians 2:14,19 (ESV)
All Nations: God's heart and desire is for all people to be saved. People from every nation and every tongue
And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”
Revelation 5:9-10 (ESV)
Gifted for Others: Jesus says that His disciples will bear fruit. Fruit is always produced for the benefit of others and not for the benefit of the tree producing it.
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (ESV)
Accepted: Jesus' willful and loving sacrifice on the cross invites us to come just as we are
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
Romans 15:5-7 (ESV)
Our God has blessed us with a large and spacious building that is used by three other churches
