Dr. Ron Walborn is the Executive Director of Urban Initiatives for Asbury Theological Seminary in New York City. Dr. Wanda Walborn is the Director of Empower, a highly effective women’s discipleship program (empowerww.org). Previously, Drs. Ron and Wanda Walborn served at Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary from 1999 to 2023. Ron was the Vice President and Dean of the Seminary and the College of Bible and Christian Ministry. Wanda was an Associate Professor of Spiritual Formation at the college and seminary. Ron served on the Board of Directors for the Christian and Missionary Alliance from 2004-2010 and was reelected in 2012 and 2016 to two more four-year terms. He has a B.A. in History from Nyack College, an M.Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary and a DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary. Ron has pastored Alliance churches in Connecticut and California. Wanda has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Nyack College, an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary and Doctorate of Intercultural Studies from Western Seminary. Wanda was elected to serve on the Christian and Missionary Alliance Board of Directors in 2020. Both Ron and Wanda have a calling together to bring renewal to the Church in the United States and around the world. They have been married 40 years. Their four adult children are all happily married and have blessed them with six amazing grandchildren.
